Happy new year from the beardy spy !

Here it is (finally) ! This is the small trailer for “The Man With The Golden Beard”, my mini series project about a very hairy special agent. Hope you’ll enjoy it ! Big thanks to Bruno, my brother, for taking care of the sound.

A first test shot to get a better idea of the final look and kind of animation. 2 or 3 others like that and I should be able to edit a proper teaser…

Here is a first image and some moodboards of the action/adventure mini series project I’m trying to develop right now. As you can guess, it mainly revolves around an agent with very specially skilled facial hair (an idea I’ve been keeping in the back of my head for a while) !

As I gather material, I’m more and more thinking of using Kickstarter to actually transform this into a real pilot episode.

My old bearded friend mcbess left me a bit of room in his Bones & Tones exhibition so I could do a new kit illustration on the “Rock N Roll” theme.

As the subject is vast, I focused on a style I rather enjoy : Desert Rock.
The show’s taking place at the great Rotopol in Kassel, Germany, until the 26th of September. Go ! Go ! Go !

Great News ! “The Elaborate End of Robert Ebb” just got the Canal + Award at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival ( one of the very biggest in France ).
The movie has now its own website and even a facebook page.
It is currently showing in various festivals around the globe, but we’ll make it watchable online as soon as we can…

A month ago now, we’ve finished ( just in time for the product launch in New York ), three videos for the new Nike Fuel Band at The Mill. It’s been a pretty big challenge, as we ( and the great team of 3d, after effects and nuke guys ! ) only had a few weeks to make three 45 seconds films, including 2d/3d animations and a live action shoot.

I directed the whole project with my long time pal Jonathan Vuillemin. These are the directors’ cut, but you can see the official one here (almost a million and a half views !).

Finally, I’m posting here the teaser of “The Elaborate End Of Robert Ebb”, a short movie we directed, Fx&Mat and myself. It’s been an epic adventure making it and I can’t wait to release it for everybody online… In the meantime you can have a look at the brand new making-of made by our former schoolmate Francois Turquety.
